I’ve had plenty of non anti-Trump memes not featured for 12 hours or more and some not featured at all. Censorship of your political bias is just a figment of your imagination.

I have had to wait as long as 48 hours for a meme to go up in this stream. Patience can pay off.

Since summer 2018, downvoting no longer has an effect on featured memes.

Righties also complain about delays, although given the plethora of blatantly stolen memes they litter the front page with, not sure why there is any.

The Mods do a crap ton of work around here, censoring memes because of political leanings is NOT one of them.

Mods don’t determine what makes the front page. Votes do. If anti-Trump memes don’t get many upvotes it’s because fewer members like them.

Do you really think anti Trump memes are the only awesome ones that don’t get close to the front page? There are plenty of great non-political submissions that get less than 50 views and no upvotes. It has nothing to do with mods, biases or censorship.

No, law of averages would dictate the total number of each category divided by percentage to the front page. So it’s rigged. This goes deeper than just “memes” I’ve been here 5 days from a three year hiatus and since day one my account been messed with by big brother Imgflip. This whole site is fishy. I’m assuming there’s a political outside connection also, keep politicizing the memes as a form of propaganda. That would make sense why there are never anything but rw good old boys making the page. Please, convince me that I’m wrong.

Real political conspiracy is closer to what your getting at. Yes imgflip is probably no more than a sweatshop for conservative memes. Mods pick the best ones and choose to make them part of trumps digital advertising campaign. If you look at the political page with a critical eye you will see many inconsistencies. A pro-trump meme 4 days old with 11 upvotes and 100 views will sit higher on this like than a memes with 24 upvotes and 500+ views(of course I’m talking about my own anti trump meme). I don’t know how things like that can happen if it’s all based on upvotes.

One meme I had was about to crack page 1 politics. And than I checked I half an hour and it was like page 6.

Time is also a factor, as how many votes and views together with the shortest amount of time will beat out those that acquires them more slowly.

I do know that, which is why I was confused while my meme of 1 day old was loosing out to one with lower metrics across the board. Maybe they rank them by tier and than alphabetically inside of that tier... but only when the liberal memes end in X, Y and Z... the rules don't feel to be uniformly applied. I will need to look into it more.

A combination of upvotes and views and amount of both within a shorter time gets memes to the front.

Trumpites outnumber anti-Trumpers and whatever else, so memes they favor have a greater chance. Mind you, most memes by anyone don't make it that far to begin with.

Interaction with other memers establishes a base that might go looking for the work of certain memers. Thus popular memers have more hits. The top memer on this site can meme a fart and it'll hit #1.

Quite a few Lefties (not all) are rather stingy with upvoting, even with those they high five. That mindset isn't going to help like-minded memes make any headway. Maybe they think they can turn the uv's they saved in for tp.

Time of submission is another factor, as early in the morning is best from what I heard.
