But, you can't lay any of this at Trump's feet

This staunch GOP guy thinks she needs to be investigated for ethics violations. That being said, trying to fabricate an unbelievable mythological time line to somehow drag Trump into this is preposterous, outrageous, ridiculous and of course, right out of the Democrat playbook.

The inference is that senators were aware months in advance of the China ban. Trump thusly should have been aware also, highlighting his criminal malfeasance. Rotten fish stink from the head down.

Tens of thousands of us worked out to sell certain stock we owned before this outbreak in China got too far.
It doesn't take a great deal of foresight to see that if China was about to start coughing (no pun) that the bears in the market would try and bring down the market. It's at these times that those bears will make opportunity for people to reduce loss and make good gains by repurchasing different stock which gains in such environments, or alternatively to repurchase what they previously owned but at a discounted value.
Unfortunately this kind of win win situation is not as sinister as negative pundits would like to make out and it will be difficult to prove that any of the politician who acted on what they heard in a briefing was insider trading. Which brings me to the conclusion that many people have no idea how the stock market works and lack the common sense to see why they are wrong about this.
