Maybe you could do me a favor. Please explain to me how the text in that image, is Trump claiming his travel ban from Wuhan, CHINA, solved the problem of the coronavirus. I just don't see it.

The person I was responding to was implying that Donald thought the single act of restricting travel had solved coronavirus. My point was that the single act was essentially a non-act (regardless of the current state of affairs).. but to be fair maybe there were a few smaller airline companies who fly internationally that were affected... and boats(?) Idk

So, there are two elements in KF's original post, the image and the text.

In the image, the first half includes text underlined in red, but up to that point, it's only about the hoax hoax, nothing about the travel ban. (btw, I know you guys love the phrase "travel ban" so I use it whenever I can!)

In the second half of the image, there's this: "But we did something that's been pretty amazing. We have 15 people in this massive country and because of the fact that we went early. We went early, we could have had a lot more than that." Then it rambles on about the country and the republican party doing great, but nothing more about the travel ban.

Where in that quoted text, or anywhere in the image's text, does Trump say the travel ban solved coronavirus? Where?

Next is KF's text. First, we must stipulate that KF is a paid shill for the snowflakes. That fact is not in dispute. Anything he posts has to be vague, yet tempting enough to gain the interest of snowflakes and the non-TDS afflicted. He has no interest in the truth.

Specifically, KF claims Trump said everything in the image four weeks after issuing the travel ban, and goes on to claim that Trump "thought with this single act, he’d solved the problem..." He then goes into pure click bait mode by asking, "Well Did he?"

You replied with something about airlines canceling flights from Wuhan, CHINA, before Trump issued the travel ban. I just don't see what that has to do with KF's claim that Trump believes the travel ban solved coronavirus. Were you saying that on their own, the airlines had helped solve the problem for Trump, by cancelling flights? That's speculation, because if that's what you were trying to say, I don't think you said it.

So I called you out by asking what your post had to do with anything. I probably could have worded that more politely, but hey, we're here on the flip, so formalities are in short supply.

You replied by saying you thought the travel ban was in effect a "non-act", which seems pretty off point to me. Then you started talking about airlines that were affected... by the travel ban, I guess. To be honest, you really lost me with that second reply.

I would like to point out that what you describe as a "non-act", the travel ban from Wuhan, CHINA, did actually buy us some time, and probably saved some lives. I think Fauci even said that. So I have to disagree with the way you dismiss it as a 'non-act." You hate Trump, but give him credit when it's due.

2. I do love the phrase travel ban... if only we would've had one. When the Trumpocalypse was just beginning I thought we should ground all flights. I forget which right-winger I said it to on here at the time but no doubt that makes me the most racist of all.

3. Idk.. maybe it was fake news that I read but as far as I could tell the airlines grounded their planes from China. After they had grounded their planes, Trump told them they need to ground their planes. And if telling someone to do something which they had already done is the big win here (not to mention the questionable results) , it would seem we have reached a new low.

Good grief... You're the one who said in a reply to me, "The person I was responding to was implying..." with "The person" being KF. Since your reply was to KF's post, I assumed that it was KF's post you were talking about... to me. Sorry if I was wrong about that...

For #2, I don't know what definition of "travel ban" you're dreaming about, but the one I'm talking about is the ban on flights from "Luhan", as Joe Biden refers to it, to the US that Trump issued on 1/31/20. I know you said you classify that as a "non-act", but I imagine most rational people consider it an act... effective or not is another issue.

For #3, I never understood what you were getting at, and after reading this reply, all I can say is I possibly understand it only marginally better. I guess when you consider a travel ban to be a "non-act" you also consider a voluntary discontinuance by a few of the many airlines flying out of "Luhan" to be the equivalent of the entire airline industry being told to do something that it had already done... even though by your own definition, it was just a few airlines. You sure lost me with that logic, but I never could understand snowflake logic anyway.
