The numbers suggest shutting down the country for this was more harmful than the virus itself. Just sayin...

Well yes, but actually no. CDC combined pneumonia and flu deaths. The flu deaths from that figure were like, 20. Seriously, have you ever heard anyone, friend or family, say a relative or friend died from the flu? They inflated it to scare people into getting profitable flu shots, even though they admit they are useless to prevent flu.

Same goes for this CV fearmongering. It's a seasonal phenomenon concurrent with flu, known as the flu and cold season. Those "deaths" need to be looked at for comorbidity (having pre-existing medical problems) and age factors. Testing "positive" figures need to mention where testing was done and on who (such as in ICU or ER, old folks home, were they healthy or not, showing any symptoms or not), and keep in mind 90% accuracy means 10% of the results are false negatives/positives.

There's also the fact that those numbers are taken from the flu SEASON not just the start of the year (aka from October to March), the fact that the flu has been global for hundreds of years vs COVID which literally just came into existence a few months ago, plus the fact that the flu has already passed it's peak season while COVID is still growing in number.

Ok, but you think covid just came into existence? It was first isolated in birds in 1937, and a strain affecting humans was found in the 1960s. It is responsible for the common cold, and it's season is roughly the same as the flu season. It's an illusion it's growing because of the increased testing. The death count is also very problematic because probably in none of the cases can it be singled out as THE cause of death with absolute medical proof. Part of the sham is accusing people of being "carriers" and "spreading disease" and "endangering everyone" if they don't stay home. Well, if you have the flu or similar you should stay home as usual, but if doing fine then no reason to do so. Bacteria, germs, viruses are inevitable, and healthy people don't need to become bubble boy.

CORONA VIRUSES have existed for a very long time, this is just a general term for a group of viruses named for their shape. COVID-19 is a new new mutation of this virus which didn't exist until around early December late October when the first people began to get infected. Thus while the family of viruses existed for a long time this particular strain only came into existence a few months ago.
The problem is, just like the flu, when you get it symptoms can be any where from a mild annoyance to risking death, and without a proper treatment/vaccine the death rate is fairly close to tat of what the flu itself caused before we developed treatments/vaccines which cut flu's death rate down to less than .2%.

We all know that general info. No need to parrot the nonsense about vaccines cutting down the flu death rate. The CDC admits it is useless. There is no covid vaccine, and it will be equally useless. The issue is comorbidity, which is also not a new concept, but in the pandemic of fearmongering no one seems to be mentioning it, or the entire medical establishment and mass media has conveniently forgot it.

The seasonal flu has an infection rate or R-Naught of 1.3%. Meaning, for every 1 person who has the flu they infect 1 other person (and third of another person).

COVID-19 has an Rnaught rating of 2.5. Meaning, for every 1 person who has it they infect 2 (and half) people.

That's a huge difference.

Now the death rate for seasonal flu is 0.1%.

For COVID-19 the WHO estimates it's at 3% worldwide. BUT that number varies based on how prepared the local healthcare system was at the time of outbreak. China has a death rate of 4%. Iran has 7.6%. Germany has a death rate of 1%. Italy has a death rate of 10%.

The U.S. was as prepared as Italy at the start of the outbreak, and our infection rate is tracking at a higher rate now. We could see a death rate higher than Italy's.

This is serious shit.

And it's not going to "go away" like SARS or MERS. It's in Africa and Australia now. Their seasons are flipped from ours. So, yeah, infection in the US will go down in the summer because we're all outside. BUT on the other side of the world, COVID-19 will be doing just fine because it's winter there and everyone is inside infecting each other.

Which means we're looking at seasonal infections.

Stay Home. Wash your damn hands.

Actually, the CDC advises us to do the same thing to prevent getting the flu every year. People just don’t pay attention

The number of flu cases is ramping up, and emergency rooms around New Jersey are beginning to feel the strain as patient volume rises.

The number of Americans hit by an already record-setting flu season continues to rise as hospitalization rates hit new highs, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday.

Hospitals are more crowded than in the 2014-2015 flu season, which marked the previous record when 710,000 Americans needed medical care to beat the illness, said Anne Schuchat, the CDC’s acting director. The agency also reported the deaths of an additional 16 children over the past week, bringing the total number of pediatric deaths attributed to the flu to 53 so far this season. Half of them had no additional health complications that would have placed them at elevated risk, Schuchat said.

Hospitals are overrun with flu patients every year, they keep the beds full year round for profits. Facts: South Korea has a 0.016% death rate and its the only country that has done widespread testing. This whole thing is a giant media hoax.

Australia appears to have the highest testing I read today greater than 1% tested and look at the death morbidity figures when you find it. Also Taiwan figures are not in general news because of china manipulating the WHO but they are also SK good. The psyop has worked very well so far.

i know, I thought and felt! you would have interest in the numbers that come from it because I see you persistently putting up about the Sth Korea so some people might get their head around the reality not the hype.
It is clearly well under 1 % everywhere and the numbers out of Italy and New York are lazy reporting of the cause of death when you learn they are putting anything related to symptoms of Covid19 as Corona being the cause. Thereby exagerating the true death rates.
Also, I learnt that more than 10 % of all cases in Australia are from just one visiting cruise ship.
