The Republicans' proposed $500 billion bailout slush fund for corporations with no oversight, no strings attached, no protections for workers is not the way to go.

Pelosi passed an alternative relief bill that the Republicans are now blocking.

(Interestingly, last Saturday a different relief bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, except for 40 Republican "no" votes)

Both bills were crap and both robbed us blind and didn't help anyone except their own friends. Just because you hate one side it doesn't mean the other is not playing the same games

Actually the bill included a requirement that none of the money would go to stock buybacks, limited CEO pay to 400k and required keeping everyone on payroll. But hey. You're no stranger to lying through your teeth.

Pelosi's alternative bill included a ton of democratic crap entirely unrelated to the virus like reductions to carbon emissions, funding for arts centers, etc. But I'm sure you'll somehow find a way to pretend that that's completely fine while the country is in a crisis. Who cares if they're taking advantage of an emergency to pass things that would otherwise not stand a chance in hell.
