My sister lives in Harpers Ferry. When I told her about this, she said, "Pfff! All that means is that no one in WV can afford to go to China." Lol!

WV is no different than anywhere else, in that some parts are phenomenally poor and gross, while others are amazing. There are parts of WV that I don't like but have to drive through to visit my sister, and there are other parts that are as stunning as any scenery on Earth.

I spent my whole life in WV and now live in Texas. Huge difference.

Maybe he/she/it goes to family reunions to pick up a date?

I've been told that there are some sketchy parts, but most people seem to have an outdated picture of WV. My brother in law says he encourages that kind of talk because it keeps the assholes out and the population low.

Another case of statistics gone wrong... WV ranks 48th in the country for health care. No testing= no positive tests. Ignorance is bliss 😣

So because somebody ranked WV 48th, you think that means there is no testing going on there? Do you get your exercise by jumping to conclusions?
