There’s no problem with being white, and no real inherent problem with saying “it’s okay into be white,” either.

The reason I’d never this phrase myself is that I view it as sort of a gateway drug into a white supremacist mindset, and that it conveys a besieged mentality that I do not believe is truly appropriate for the socially/numerically dominant race to hold.

Just look around, and you’ll see there are a zillion reasons that confirm it is, indeed, okay to be white in this country.

Antithesis: To a degree, yes, and degrees are what we are talking about. Keeping our collective attention on it for too long makes people turn away because it just becomes noise. Granted it is a fine line.
