One day,I googled the song "Before the Lobotomy" and I found a lobotomy template.After a few days,I forgot about imgflip.Then,I wanted to send a meme to my friends,but it was an inside joke.I googled lobotomy again to find imgflip, and here I am 3 months later.

Wanted to make memes but tbeyre not funny

I look up memes because I was bored and then I found this. Pretty soon I picked up and made memes. Then I made an account. Then I started commenting. The first person I met was RayDog. Then I got more comfortable in the community. I still didn't comment and interact but I was comfortable. I took a two-month break. Gained some followers from my memes. I started commenting a bit more. Soon I was becoming a little more popular. I was happy about it. I tried to be on as much as I could. I love it here and I still do. I'm not the most popular but I am known by some fairly popular users. I met awesome people like Kyle and Ememeon (funny thing is I used to hate Kyle a lot, another story for later). Not very inspiring but it's my story and I wouldn't change it.

Scrolling through google memes accidentally (or maybe fate) clicked on the imgflip.com link forgot about it, then a few days later I made an account and (stupidly) put my username as my full name then changed it to that_baseball_girl

I really liked Civil War memes, so I was looking at a bunch and wanted to make one. So I looked up meme maker and found this. I made memes and stuff but I was kinda clueless. Then I made an account and now I'm addicteeeeeeeeeedddd

I wanted to make memes so I searched meme generator on Google and the first thing to come up was imgflip so before I had an account I just scrolled through memes and a month later I wanted people to see my memes so I made an account and here I am. The run-on sentence was intentional.

I wanted to make memes but I don’t know where or how so I searched meme maker and this was number one so I signed up and been obsessed over Imgflip since 2019

I looked up 'meme generator' and I clicked on the website.

So, I started this temp job and I was one half of the team organizers. The other half was a woman I'd never met before but we got along quite well and decided we would decorate the room a bit for motivation. We found out we had a similar sense of humor and while looking for a few memes that would fit the situation I found that they basically don't exist. So I looked up meme generators and imgflip was the one that I tried out first. After a while I also started looking at what other people posted and found some of it amusing (that was back when there was still only one "stream", btw.) and decided I might try posting some myself. I'm not too active usually and only post when something interesting comes to me and my jokes are usually either dad jokes or just really obscure and not many people like them. Usually I comment way more than I post. But, yeah, I guess I just never really left...

Oh, and that woman from the temp job? We're married now. 😁

Actually I first only needed a generator to caption some pictures... It was only later that I decided to join the community.

Before I started here in Dec. ‘17, I would just google “Memes” to look for memes to steal for a particular Friday meme war I was in on FB. This site was one of the first that popped up. Then I started actually making memes from here and memegenerator.net. I always wanted to join in on the discussions, though. So when that meme war thing ended, and I found out imgflip was free to join, I signed up! So glad I did! 😊👍
