It doesn't matter if the 20 pens she used cost $300 or $15,000. It was a celebration, not the somber, bi-partisan event that Pelosi had promised us.
Perhaps a more salient point to make would be that the same week Pelosi used about 20 pens in gleefully signing the articles of impeachment, how many pens did Trump use to sign the Phase I trade agreement with China?
I honestly don't know the answer, but even if it's 20 (or more), the point is the "tradition" of using multiple pens to sign documents has pretty much only been used when the document is for something positive, not something that's almost literally tearing the country apart.
All of which more than unmasks Pelosi as a stone cold liar, when she said the impeachment would be somber and bi-partisan. Or, did I miss when she gave out some of the pens to the many republicans who had voted in favor of the articles of impeachment?
