I agree, I think. I mean sure, you have a right to wear whatever you want, but you also have a responsibility to yourself to not be stupid.

It's certainly your right to bathe in chicken broth and wear a antelope costume while strolling through the lion exhibit at the zoo, but don't blame the lion.

The same is true with sexually provocative dress and MAGA hats. Rights are not absolute.

Potentially, yes. At the same time, some forms of dress are provocative just as some behaviors are. If you are going to wear X, then it is your responsibility to consider the potential reaction of others to what you are wearing and be prepared for it -- regardless of what your "rights" are.

In other words, feel free to wear a MAGA hat into a liberal bar. After all, it is your right. But don't cry about it if you get your ass kicked. Don't troll and complain that you weren't expecting a reaction.

Wearing a MAGA hat and getting attacked for it is part of the context of the conversation and huge part of the comment you first replied to in this thread. As such it would be normal for people to read you were replying to attacking people for wearing a MAGA hat in your tolerance response.

If you're complete strangers I'd say there's definitely a line you shouldn't cross... And the line is probably physical contact. (Unless invited.)
I'd say comments are fair game. Probably not a good idea at work though...but a w**re uniform or maga hat seems like it'd be pretty unusual at work anyway.. but I guess it depends on your line of work.
