I just hate hypocrisy. Like sanders, rejected the Iraqi war, yet supported every sanction (Like on Iraq, that killed a million or so kids, even if Albright thought it was worth it) strike or any punitive punishment if it was suggested by a dem.

Pelosi also supported taking out Gaddafi. Which then turned Libya from a country that was the most successful one in Africa to a disaster. Believe Libyans were getting free schooling, free healthcare, infrastructure improvement, a home was a human right, $5,000 to each mother birthing a child, their own state bank with loans at 0%, raised literacy up 50%, free electricity. Terrorist at one time, sure, but he was benefitting his country.

She still have to truck out 3/4 of the shit smeared across her streets to reach that goal.

We’ve made a zillion and one mistakes in the Middle East, that’s for sure. I don’t know if there’s a single American politician around who’s been on the right side of every single issue.

We’ve got plausible vengeance motives against just about every faction and so does everyone else.

Best we can hope for is containment, non-proliferation, and somehow keep everyone from killing each other. I don’t think Soleimani’s assassination helped anything and actually may have caused damage that won’t be undone for quite some time.
