The whole point of putting Cornell West's face on there with Tucker Carlson's quote was to wake people up and to destroy their biases. There are many ignorant people that claim that Tucker Carlson is alt-right, racist or "ignorant conservative right-winger. This quote demonstrates that people can actually confuse Tucker Carlson's words with something that Cornell West could potentially say.

You misinterpret the intent of this meme completely. BTW... I took a look at the meme link you shared and some of what the meme says is true but The Democratic party and the Republican party do shift throughout history. It's like the "good cop bad cop" scenario except sometimes the cops switch roles to confuse the shit out of the person they're interrogating. That's one of the many ways the establishment keeps everyone confused, fighting and divided.
