“Investigating crime“ as you’ve put is an abuse of office if:

1. The “crime” at issue is based on Russian-fueled conspiracy, hearsay, and supposition rather nothing solid;
2. You’re pressuring a foreign government to do it rather than the expert lawyers in your own FBI;
3. You’re running a shadow foreign policy using your unelected and unappointed personal lawyer;
4. You’re only interested in the son of a political opponent.

There are lots of other reasons this is wrong but I gotta go now

Like Ukraine isn't corrupt af.
2 ups, 4y
1. It was spelled out by Biden himself.
2. FBI can only investigate on US soil.
3. Where did you get that nonsense?
4. That's not his only interest, read the rest if the transcript. That was one among many.

So is that why Biden got away with it? Because he openly admitted it?

Sure, why not? If that's what it takes to get you to see that you can't oversimplify your way out of this on Trump's behalf.

Hey, serious question. Is there anything to prevent Pence from naming Trump as his vp, then stepping down, thereby giving Trump a chance at 2 more terms, if Trump gets removed?

I would think that would be the case but I've not seen where that's stated.

You've not seen your Morton Downey Jr idea for Pres abdicating to his mentally retarded senile VP anywhere other than YouTube either.

I just remember Morton Downey Jr's teeth.
1 up, 4y
Good gosh, yes, haha.

When Bush Sr was running, Downey was putting him down, and suggested he should run with Reagan as VP then step down and give Ron a 3rd.

Wow, I vaguely remember that.

By then his shtick was played out. I kept watching for the boobs and hoping someone would slap the cigarrette out his face.

Whomever he said that to replied soemthing like, "Wow, interesting idea, never thought of that." Forgot who it was, but some politics expert...

Hey, JustineWhite9 (for now) is dry humping my leg again. Guess the scissors missed a spot.

No, it's not possible for you to dumb yourself down to such a level.

Thing is, you've accused me of being Marilyn Gillette, Green Chilli, even the psycho tranny fatal from hell, Justine. So the "Cry wolf, and let loose the alts of war" earworms me on this one.

hahaha, silly Gilbert tho. Quits, and like a week or two later Chosanwan went on his trip to Germany and hasn't returned to the 'flip since.
His last comments were to me, btw, on the sheer awesomeness of his top secret efforts to combat Gobal Warming which is a fad I laugh at yet have done more to 'counteract' than ALL the yahoos everywhere I've debated the issue with over the years COMBINED, down to literally breaking my back to do it.

I'm not bs'ing you. You may have taken it as an accusation but that wasn't my intent. If it was, I'd tell you. I hope I have some currency with you.

I told Crypto you were Marilyn? Damn, I have zero recollection of that. Like I said, I don't remember that poster. Neither Chili.

I know I made an ironic statement about you possibly being Justine, but I could have switched out you for OM and my point would have been the same.
0 ups, 4y
Almost missed that bit to Crypto, as it was way down an elongated stream.

You've said it many a time.

As you may have noticed, I enjoy exploiting whatever people wish to think. You should have seen my tear a bloo'y new hole in the arse of one of Dimby's 2 latest recruits, MaybeSomeoneJr, last week. Tore that daft numpty's nads off and tossed 'em back over the Mexican side of El Wall de Trump. B!tch made one comment to someone else a couple of days and then done went MIA.
Funny thing is, that now buggered off bloke kept calling me a Brit, and we might have actually lived in the same neighborhood till a 6 years ago! HAA!
(Yes, I am aware that my British-isms here sound a tad forced. But that cheeky Chav didn't!)

Oh, my point was that it's fun to squeeze some air up their deliberate misconceptions.

You said you were kidding about the Justine one quickly, but not with them other two, even after RedBarron provided me a list of both memers' previous account names.

Been an interesting day for me as well. I have Jeff and his alts raging cuz I called him out politely. Of course then reverting to namecalling and crying about my past namecalling to him. He's calling me Timber, of course. You know only Gilbert pounded his armchair harder in anger. Got Antithesis to snap all caps at me. A useless attempt at arguing semantics with unoriginal.

Yeah, saw that.
1 up, 4y
Jeff's alts? You mean you're not going to say they're mine, which I came up with to troll myself with, no less?
1 up, 4y,

I never accused you of being those alts. Anything I said was in jest or saying anyone can be an alt. I don't even know Green chili or Marilyn.

Yeah, Gilbert could be a little scattered. That's funny tho. Surprised he didn't ask me to keep standing up for Merkel hahaha Yeah, these climate change zealots makes me want to pour motor oil in the nearby creek.

I miss the old Chosanwan flamewars. Dating profiles and all.
1 up, 4y
Come on, man, don't do that, just don't/

Shit, ever see me deny any of the original accusations? Hell, I turned the original three maybe-me's into the GODdahead and sat back n smiled as the fanboys dropped off one by one. And THEY were gonna run ME out of here. Secret memes & streams, Palringo - wowie zowie, war room city! Maybe they shoulda made a Dischord server to tribute muh G-Man memes?

The one posting all those Marilyn Monroe memes who kept calling everyone "betas" who can't get over that Gillette ad?
CryptoTruth went from trying to be a burr for months to high fiving me when I stook a JFK up MarilynFan's butt then suddenly accused her of being my alt, then I saw it was because you told him that, then you told me that?

GreenChilli talking about how Eve came first and blah blah white hos and wondering why her racist memes were deleted because they were about white folks so must be ok?

Justine but then I asked why would I go stalkeroonie on myself, hijack a secret meme about a certain Canadian faker and clog it with oozing cringe to me, and then delete said meme which I now have to make it again despite it being secret and seen only by a certain few who did not witness that crash n burn rabbit boiler going fatal on me (other than 1)?

No, because trump would be an impeached ex-President at that point and this is uncharted waters but to claim that the constitution would allow that would be a really heavy lift.

Besides, you know Mike Pence would distance himself from Trump in a heartbeat.

In theory, a flagrant enough disregard for the spirit of democracy would permit that course of action, but the American electorate might have something to say about it later.

But if you think that’d be smart politics, have at it!

It's cool. I just didn't know if it was actually feasible and I figured antithesis might be able to give me a good answer.
0 ups, 4y
I would agree with him that it would be “uncharted territory.” Whenever that happens, it’s typically up to how popular the president is if they can push it through. A popular leader can shape constitutional norms as we’ve seen before in our history. But I doubt that someone with the stain of impeachment on them would have that kind of political pull. And yeah — why would Pence go along with that. This isn’t Russia where Putin was able to shove Medvedev aside to get around presidential term limits for instance.
4 ups, 4y
Way out of what? Had there been a reasonable concern, you may have had senate RINO's happy to remove Trump, but with this, there no way you'll get enough votes. The IG report doesn't help your cause when we see the corruption that went on, which we all knew. So good job driving centrists toward Trump because they're tired of the constant bs Trump has had to deal with. His approval is going up DESPITE this impeachment charade.

It's simply not a President's job to investigate overseas corruption. That's a job for the FBI and the local authorities. Why? Because otherwise POTUS's job would be endless and he'd have no time to do other things including keeping our country safe as Commander-in-Chief. There are 1000's of company boardmembers just like Hunter Biden in the world.

Why did only one of them named Hunter Biden rise to the top of Trump's attention?
0 ups, 4y
It absolutely is. and When the FBI is, itself corrupt, they must be dissmissed...it takes no time to investigate the obvious. Attention goes where its needed most: When you're at the top and WHOOP! THERE IT IS!

The State Department are Trump appointees for that exact reason. Yet he was still bypassing them in order to conduct foreign policy with his personal lawyer. That is shady as shit. Even if Trump's version of the story were true, there is no good reason why he would handle it like that.
