Polls I saw showed independents turning against this whole impeachment sham.. democrats cannot win without their votes. A lot can change in the next year but Trump's odds are actually looking better than they were a month ago.

Support for impeachment is dropping like a rock, the longer dems press this issue the more damage they're doing to their 2020 chances.. and this is even BEFORE it makes it to the senate where republicans will be able to call their own witnesses and make their own subpeonas. However, given that the gap between the progressives and the "sane" people in the dem party is so wide, I think they've got a real problem on their hands in terms of who to nominate.

Agreed. I haven't watched much of the dem debates, since I consider them to be nothing more than under cards for the presidential debates, and I really don't care who they nominate. But, from what little I have watched, I was more impressed by her more than the other dems. With the possible exception of Andrew Yang, assuming he can deliver on that $1,000 he promised me!

I think a lot of Trump supporters do what I do when contacted by a pollster... I simply lie. For the 2016 election, all the polls showed that Hillary was going to win. All the polls were wrong. And I suspect that it's because many other Trump supporters do exactly what I do.

And that’s why the convictions and aspirations of politicians mean nothing to me. They sell it all for the sake of party favorability and flat out lie to their supporters about doing so. Trump and Pelosi are not exceptions.
