You made me think of George Carlin. Now, he was a smart guy and redpilled boomers but was he ever funny? I haven't seen a lot of his stuff but he never made me laugh, from what I've seen.

Cuz he made a funny face?

Any suggestion of a funny routine? I admit I may be off base but I've watched whole routines where i was stonefaced.

His 60's and 70's stuff was best. He kinda got lefty-lost towards the end. Carlin on Campus has some hysterical parts.

I can only imagine Patrice around today. It would be comedy gold, if he wasn't gulaged.

I use to follow it more closely but Greg Geraldo was someone I admired before he unfortunately died. Martin Short as Jiminy Glick was gold too. Martin is still so funny.

And here I was thinking I was the only one that didn't find him funny.

I don't just understand why he's up there at the top. But i haven't seen much of his early stuff. I suppose I miss alot of his cutting satire because I didn't live through it.

He had this "7 words you can't say on tv" bit that folks hail as an ultimate classic, and they say his comedy albuns were great. All I can recall is this "Baseball vs Football" bit that while well crafted and interesting, seemed to go on forever, and he assured it did by repeating it word for word from the late 1970s till his death. SNL, Carson, Letterman, Conan, Spuggy Squittmark in the Texaco bathroom stall on Exit 15 in Chipmunk Ohio off of I-87... you name it, he did it and ONLY it for decades.

Folks swear by him, but I found him a tad too taken up with his own calculated cleverness. Not ultra smug like Bill Maher, but a little too cutesy with it nevertheless. But tbf, I've not heard enough of his material to make a proper assestment.
