So Hunter Biden being paid as much as $50K a month for serving on the Burisma board of directors from April 2014 to April 2019 is not what you would consider employment? Man, you and I sure have different definitions of words like employment and personal value. Amazing.
I never said the prosecutor that was fired was corrupt. Show me where I said that? Getting rid of a prosecutor that was going to investigate the company and its dealing could put his son at risk. And he boasted about getting rid of the prosecutor. I won't provide a link, because the video is ubiquitous, and I've seen it several times from several different sources.
Here's an interesting read on this subject, that claims proof of these payments does not exist: https://checkyourfact.com/2019/10/17/fact-check-hunter-biden-ukraine-burisma-payments/
If I were the suspicious type, it sure looks like the money Hunter received was laundered through a consulting firm. But clearly I'm not the suspicious type, right?
Also, according to that article, Biden said something I agree with, when interviewed by Amy Robach: “Look, I’m a private citizen. One thing that I don’t have to do is sit here and open my kimono as it relates to how much money I made or make or did or didn’t.”
An interesting way to phrase it, but the essence of that statement is correct, imo.
Regarding the meat of the actual issue we're discussing, which is 'the phone call' being used by the dems in their latest attempt in a long string of attempts to impeach president Trump, you really need to check your facts. Sure, you threw some fec.gov link at me in reply to my OP, but clearly you are not aware of the 1998 treaty, ratified by the US senate (including a vote in favor of it by one Joe Biden, if I'm not mistaken) that requires the US president to investigate corruption between the US and the Ukraine
The treaty is called the "Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters" and was ratified by the U.S. Senate on Oct. 18, 2000.
