Well, what the hell do you expect? When capitalism does nothing for someone, supporting alternatives becomes the rational choice. All you have to do is extend capitalism so that a cut of the wealth is used to house people, treat sick people, feed hungry people, and educate stupid people - and then those numbers will drop and people won't be considering those system you fear so much. Give people something to lose and they won't want to lose it!

If you gave people reasons to appreciate what capitalism can do for them, then 33% of them won't support scrapping capitalism. It stands to reason.

Instead of whining about it, you can offer a something that benefits more of us, and then we'd all agree that there's no need to even try to replace something that works even if the replacement might work out - people don't want to fix something that ain't broke.
