You see, most people that I'm used to dealing with online, are either my age or younger, particularly on a meme website. And it's truly mind-boggling to me how some people in the west think that "not being racist" is some sort of badge of honor, when according to the survey data, the West is the least racist place on Earth to begin with ( it is the Anglosphere that led the world in abolishing slavery, after all). *Most* westerners, specifically, most Americans, are not very racist.

Yes, in the Civil Rights era it would have meant something, it would have made someone a brave rebel, but now it is an uncontroversial opinion in a nation where expressing one's opinions is specifically protected by the highest law in the land.
If you really are from an era when racism was rampant, you should give yourself a hand - you won.
