Even circa 1975 when I went to high school, the American Government teacher misinformed us that the Second Amendment is not an individual right. One regret in my life is that I didn't call him out on it, or tell my parents. I'm sure my dad would have given him an earful.

We used to teach a love for: God, the President, and the Constitution in the schools. Then we allowed liberals to kick God out of our schools. The rest was entirely predictable.

When I was in school, they did. US Government was a required class.
