I scored as a Baptist, coming very close to Pentecostal.

I grew up in the Methodist church and am still a practicing member, but being from the bible belt I've attended and enjoyed many other churches including Presbyterian, Baptist, Southern Baptist, Church of God, the Pentecostal Church, and probably a few others I'm missing. I've also been to the Greek Orthodox Church, that's an interesting one.

What I find interesting about the Greek Orthodox Church is that it’s an offshoot of the Roman Papist Church, which is already one of the strangest religions because of its morals and the fact that it only has one tiny country for itself, unlike Islam, which has many nations. I wonder if the Greek Orthodox Church has the same corruption.

All churches, like all organizations have corruption. My cousin married into a greek family so they got married in the GOC and she is now a big part of their local community. I've been to some of their services and functions, the culture is really neat I think.

Yeah, at least unlike Rome, Greece has unique culture. But the GOC still has the same system that the RCC has; just with different leaders, and slightly different customs.

Became a Christian at a young age, been that way since. I try not to get religious about it.

Mom's Christian. My Dad was Catholic until his adulthood, then converted to Christianity.

Which sects, and why exactly did your dad convert? I’m on the same boat that your dad is on, but I just want to know his reason.

Mom was raised in a Lutheran Church, but she goes by Evangelical/Christian. My Dad learned that a lot of what was taught in the Catholic church did not line up with the Bible (praying to saints and stuff like that, I don't remember all he told me).

Yeah, I couldn’t agree more. I recently had to convert from Catholicism, at first because of all of the mental gymnastics I had to perform from being a vegan ancap Catholic (the Popery was the first “Christian” religion to justify speciesism, and the pagan papal infallibility & charity don’t line up with anarcho-capitalism), but after I did some research, I also noticed many other anti-biblical things about the RCC, including the pagan worship of saints and even the Bible stories in Daniel & Revelation that describe the Popery to be the Antichrist.

Some of those saints are pagan dieties, LOL

I've personally decided that whether or not a god exists can't really be verified, so I've gone irreligious without entirely giving up on the possibility that a divine being exists.
