But the vast majority treat upvotes like they were very rare commodities that are very expensive. I typically make memes for the Fun section, but occasionally I make them for the Politics Section. I get a lot of views in the politics section, but I also get a rather large amount of upvotes. I upvote memes all of the time from either the fun section or the politics section. But apparently, I'm one of the very few who upvotes Fun Section memes.

You have to remember all of our memes are highly public and don't just stay on imgflip. Basicallu people can see them by searvhing types of memes, they might share etc. but if they aren't on imgflip they can't upvote.
