Nope. I'm a non-denominational Christian. I don't get caught up in the religious side of it. So again, two questions I asked that have yet to be answered...

Apologies for my error. In my experience, evangelical Christians tend to talk about Christianity as though all denominations and sects share their social beliefs. Christianity is so much bigger than that. Catholics, Presbyterians, Methodists, Mormons, non-denominational, Baptists, many Unitarians, UCC - all Christians. And a massive portion of them are opposed to the current administration.

Pence has been waging a war of policy against the LGBT for his entire political career. This is not a tenet of Christianity. It is specific to his personal brand of Christianity, that approves of using government to remove dignity from people that aren't in line with his narrow beliefs. In addition to this, he's on board with a wide variety of Trump's more oppressive policies.

The reason no one (on the Left) wants President Pence is that he's an effective politician, unlike the current president. He's truly terrifying.

Terrifying of you don't hold the same beliefs, I guess. But I guess your thoughts on Pence is closely similar to my thoughts on Islamic terrorists like Ilhan Omar.

Fear is an effective way to control someone. It's why Trump's wall is even on the table, even though the actual border crisis came to a head during the Bush Administration and was very effectively dealt with by both Bush and Obama (who, wisely, continued the policies Bush put in place with relatively little tinkering).

It has not been effectively dealt with since it began decades before Bush. The wall is a practical response to a problem. Men use logic, to solve problems.

Women use logic to solve problems as well. Just pointing it out that logic isn't a gendered trait.

According to Trump's own Dept. of Homeland Security, the estimated number of successful border crossings every year went from 1,700,000 in 2005 to under 200,000 in 2016. That's a nearly 90% drop over the course of the decade before Trump. What does this tell you?

It tells me that ICE was doing a great job without the wall and before their resources were stretched incredibly thin with the added responsibility of rounding up asylum seekers. If you really wanted to bring that 200k closer to 0 you don't need a wall. You need to pour more resources into what was already working brilliantly.

Meanwhile, the number of temporary visas that were overstayed in 2017 is estimated at just shy of 600,000. That's how people are illegally migrating to the US, by a margin of 3 to 1. If there's a problem with illegal immigration, that's it. A wall won't catch those folks, because they came here legally and just stayed when their visas ran out.

Men do often use logic to solve problems, but the ones making the decisions right now don't seem to have gotten the memo.

No and don't play stupid. Being an extremist doesn't make the Region Extremist in nature. Altho I personally have nothing against pence.
