Trump has 2 different speaking styles.

When he's on prompter, his attention is riveted to that prompter. His delivery is flat. He stands really still. All of which he's doing there.

When he's freestyling it, he is physically animated. He inserts a lot of verbal noise and fillers. He shifts back and forth between concepts. He also looks at the crowd. None of which he was doing.

And made up historical nonsense is 100% in his brand. Remember when he claimed he had better poll numbers than Lincoln?

It's so off the wall and Australian, I love it. It was the only movie that used the v8 decently. It also was hilarious how it was dubbed. I mocked ton of old bags with the 'Old lady...Womaaan' line when Bubba Zanetti wanted Sprog from the old lady when I was a little bastard.

The new one. With the character name I always forget. I just found out after giving Mich that link that Bubba was in Gallipoli with Mel too.

Bubba was so deadpan & clearly enunciated but with that glint of insanity barely bottled up in his eyes that if you saw that IRL, you'd know you were dealing with some f**ked up shit straining to burst out. Get ready to duck time.

I only saw Gallipoli once, when it came out, so I forgot. At least they got him in that, surprised not more, unless he was in other Aussie stuff we just haven't heard about in our bubble over here. Seen some good movies on PBS and Showtime that slipped under the radar round these parts, shame.

The new one should have been "Son of Max," because Tom Hardy was just not him. No one can be. Plus they were dealing with cultures that would take more than a couple of decades after breakdown to develop.

Add to that three unintentionally hilarious cringe reality shows including the one centered in the White House now, and all youstillhave have a charlatan who wasn't elected in all his previous runs because everyone saw him for the joke he is.

This time he managed to parlay his anti-Obama-isms into an election, and his entire legacy is centered around attempting to undo what Obama ALREADY has accomplished regardless plus a hefty tax cut for the rich of which the paltry bit for us little peons expires next year.

This isn't President of some special ed class or the remake of Idiocracy, this is someone who has what was until 2017 the most important job on Planet Earth. But that doesn't matter, because the USA is now a worldwide joke and the newest addition to the Third World club. Regardless of whomever gets elected in coming years and what they do, we are over, done. THAT will be Trump's legacy and how he will be noted in the history books.
