The temperance movement did lead to prohibition, but it wasn't really about alcohol being too manly. Alcohol consumption itself was widely accepted before the movement, even for children, but drunkenness was not.
Cats actually consume or chew plants as well. They’ll often eat grass to settle upset stomachs. They absolutely adore Catnip which is a plant.
They’re not strict omnivores which means they can eat other things instead of meat. But that doesn’t mean they’re omnivores ether because they can’t have a sustainable diet without meat.
I honestly have no idea what cat wine is made of. I probably wouldn’t give it to them whatever it is made of.
