But the Nazis kept the suitcases and just sorted through everything, piling up things like shoes, photographs, and other belongings. They kept anything valuable like jewels and gold. The piles of shoes could be seen and the number of people murdered in the crematoriums they had. I had thought those were bodies piled up and wondered how this didn't get a NSFW until I saw your comment.

They were also sometimes known as Arbeitslager, but that was just a farce. Auschwitz even had the motto "Arbeit macht Frei" which translates to Work makes free, which again is also a complete farce. The Thing about these Refugee Camps on the US-Mexico border is that they are Camps where a large amount of people are kept there in bad and inhumane conditions and without due Process. What do you call that?

Another example of Concentration Camps, but not Death camps, would be the American-Japanese Internemnt Camps.

I can agree to that, but I think we can all agree that when we hear the words "concentration camps," the Nazi death camps are immediately what we think of. She wouldn't have said that they were concentration camps if she were comparing them to the American-Japanese internment camps, because there are some people that don't know about those. But almost everybody knows about Hitler and his death camps.

Americans are pretty dumb, the words she used were accurate, they are concentration camps. Just because they are mainly associated with the holocaust, doesn't invalidate the term. If you knew your history, concentration camps were first used by the British during the Boer Wars from 1899/1902. Not to commit genocide, although lots died, but to round people up and stop them from helping the enemy.

We were talking about Germany, but yes in Russia the communist revolution was successful. As for Obama I couldn't care less about him, an average President and I would prefer my Presidents not to have any strong beliefs of any faith. That is the way to disaster. Religion and politics do not mix.
