Guns aren't the problem, people are. Conservatives talk in favor of assessments of the mental health of gun buyers, but what no one wants to address is the mental illness of our whole damn society. What should you call it then? Yes, people do the killing. When someone murders with a knife, it's called knife violence because they used a knife. You might be a little too connected with the concept of guns

Yes, you have a point that there often needs to be a distinction in crimes based on the weapon used. But you should blame the perpetrators of the crime, and not the weapons.

People with guns kill. If it was harder get guns, it would be harder to kill with them. The guy in Las Vegas would not have killed nearly as many people without the guns. Arrows are slow. Knives are too close.
