As much as I dislike him for his pathetic virtue signalling over Trump (He calls Trump racist yet may one day get eaten by the left for, by their standards, being racist or bigoted by using slurs in his books) it is pretty interesting someone that rich being married to the same person for so long.

I'm just bitter that I wasted my time reading his stuff as a kid. I will admit that I like some of his short stories that don't need real character development.

That's pretty much all I ever read too, when school was reading Old Yeller, I was reading his early stuff as Richard Bachman, surprising how much of his stuff was turned into movies, just watched Firestarter the other day hungover and bored. Cheesy as f**k.

Yes, you'd think they'd make decent movies from his stuff but it's few and far between.

I read the Tommyknockers a couple years ago and was surprised how bad it was, although I liked the concept.

I will credit him for making me realize that reading fiction after a certain point is pretty useless. I gave up on him when it seemed he had a new book every 3 months, maybe just after the third dark tower book.

Unfortunately I don't read much anymore, I bin carrying around "Catcher in the Rye" a gf gave me for 6 years now. I have the attention span of a gnat. Prolly also why she's not a gf anymore.
