Basic Human Rights

On behalf of all of us Jews who have learned lessons of sad history and are embracing the 2nd Amendment as a way to our "Never Again", I say thank you Will for spreading this powerful message.

I've been a member of that organization for many years and stopped being a member because they're useless. But you'd be surprised to learn (as I was) that a lot of fellow Jews actually do get it and are pro-Second Amendment. It is the loud mouths that are anti.

I don't know/follow what impact they have, but do think they're a great resource for those who for some reason or other, can't understand why Jews may view firearms ownership essential for various reasons. Now Israeli Jews on the other hand tend to "get" it as they don't have the option to pretend otherwise.

As a british person, I do respect your right to own a gun.
But at least make sure that not everyone can buy a gun with no need to check on anything except a fat stack of cash.

It is the right of all citizens. Why the need to post this? It's not being taken away.

The only country on the planet it's seen as a Right (capital R) is the US, and there's no lack of people working hard to remove it, and would tomorrow if they didn't have that pesky Second Amendment stopping them. Some times people need to be reminded with what seems utterly obvious to others, and that meme does that well. People need to be reminded and reminded often. Many, too many, wouldn't even agree with what seems obvious to anyone with two working neurons, but they don't. Hence, why history is doomed to repeat itself.

Exactly. Absolutely no chance of it. That's why I can't understand the worry. It would require a doubling of the military just so they could go door to door, confiscating weapons from Americans and shooting those who put up a fight. It's a ridiculous proposition and has zero chance of happening.

I hope for your sake you're not one of those people paying for Wayne Lapierre's $250,000 a year wardrobe and his other outrageous expenses on NRA members dime.

8 executives at the NRA make more money than the head of the Red Cross, another non-profit. The Red Cross is a non-profit that has ten times the yearly revenue.

Sure, it could happen here but with current conditions, it is virtually impossible but Wayne is good at fear mongering. He'll need his 4 dozen suits, his private jet and other luxury's next year too.
