I'm the laziest about reading books, but I should endeavor to look that one up one day. What's it about anyways?
Talking about Mexican food, there's a couple of things they make for Friday's during Lent that are awesome. One is Huasoncle (not sure if that''s how it's spelled, but it's something like "wha-son-cley") which, for those who don't know, is a veggie that sorta tastes like broccoli rabe, which is this Italian broccoli like thing but semi- bitter or something-ish. So it's stuffed with white cheese and breaded and served in sauce.
But even better is Tortas de Camarrones, which are patties (not the Torta sandwich) made of grounded up dried shrimp I think mixed with corn meal and eggs, served with either red sauce or Mole.
Sadly, since having to move back here, no real Mexican restaraunts, but I found one in a nearby neighborhood the other day and they might have it tomorrow.
So I happy. I happy.
