Climate change is as much an industry as it is a political issue. Make all cars electric? Gee, I wonder who's going to profit from the upgrade of a billion automobiles? And how will thst help the environment when you're burning additional fossil fuels to generate the electricity to charge them?

Close... it was "7 Years" in his 2007 Nobel acceptance speech... and the 2014 Winter saw TWO ships trapped within the ice, requiring Ice Breakers to be diverted to free them

Yes, he overstated when the Arctic could be free of SUMMER ice, however, it would be a logical fallacy to therefore conclude that climate change is a hoax.

The climate has always changed through time, I doubt it has anything (or much) to do with man, although that doesn't mean we shouldn't clean up the earth but people pushing the 97% lie and being hysterical (not saying you are) isn't really helpful. Most politicians just want to use carbon taxes to reap taxes.

sure the climate has changed throughout time, but it's the rate of change we're worried about. Glad you agree we should clean-up the earth. You simply can't keep pouring carbon gases into the atmosphere and not believe it won't have an effect. The US could lead in developing clean technology.

Eh, I see plastic and trash and dead zones in the ocean as bigger problems. I'm old enough to remember acid rain and the ozone layer depleting. Guess what? The ozone layer has come back. Having said that, we should be good stewards but carbon taxes are just a money grab by politicians that really only care about money, for the most part. Until China and India come on board, the west's efforts will be fairly useless.
