My entire point was that EVERY President that’s been in office in my lifetime has been slammed by critics, and made fun of by comedians.

Obama was not attacked as hard - or actually much harder - not only by the public but also other people in goverment, no less? From a do-nothing Congress to getting jabbed in the chest by a Governor scolding him when she was supposed to be greeting him? Generals saying they wouldn't follow his orders because of why again? By arresting homeless who squeggee cleaned car windows and getting them off the Bowery (by the time you got to Chinatown with the visiting relatives, they dirtied up your car windows with them dusty things. But that was part of the touristy fun. "Look! Dha bumz!") and other cosmetic "quality of life" things like that, he claimed crime would go down.
Thing is, it was the end of the crack epidemic, and crime also went down everywhere else in America without him at the helm. Plus it has continued to go down since his departure.

Stop and Frisk was more to the core of actual crime prevention, but it was a violation of the 4th Amendment right of security from unreasonable searches and seizures. A Federal Judge had ruled this in 2013 as well that it was racial discrimination, targeting a higher percentage of Blacks and Hispanics.
Since the practice was curtailed, crime numbers have still continued down, despite the predictions from its supporters.
