Those are figures from only 3 US States.
Of mainly ethnicities and in States most likely to lean Democrat to begin with.
Felons registering AFTER leaving prison, not prior to.
Those were only a portion of ex felons who went on to register, as all did not, some already being registered prior to prison, some not registering at all. So the findings are skewed by sample size (was it only a third?).
Causality was not established.
Their stay in prison may have affected their attitude towards the parties and hence their decision.
The figures varied and weren't quite the immense majority lyin' Ted Cruz & party hacks paint them to be.
