The north koreans. Wouldn't expect you to be able to figure out that those kiss-up tweets aren't intended for us, they are to sweeten up to the korean pig. Trump's big push with NK has been to try and give them the impression that if they were to demilitarize, the US would help them become another south korea as far as tech and money goes. I guess you werent paying attention last summit?

The worst part is, that's probably exactly what's happening.

So you'd prefer the north koreans continue to live in poverty and oppression and the south koreans live in fear than have the president send a positive tweet about a fat pig in the hopes that it will move us towards a peaceful agreement? When exactly was it that the democrats became the hawks and conservatives became doves?

I think I'd prefer some actual diplomacy, if that's alright with you. I don't feel good about the world if my only options are the status quo and putting hope in the power of Trump's effing tweets to do diddly squat. If you're going to false choice someone, at least throw in an option that sounds enticing; that's how that device works.

Saw what coming? We gave up nothing and NK is still not launching missiles over Japan. But that's right. It's a mistake to even TALK to them. You're so f**king stupid it's unbelievable. And I'm sure you thought Obama's negotiations with Iran were a good thing, right? Even after he folded like a wet towel.

We saw this coming. Diplomacy by Twitter didn't work and the summit was a meaningless waste of time. All previous presidents - including Obama - use backchannels to sort out the agenda for this kind of high profile meeting exactly so that there are no major surprises and Donald Trump didn't do it - but all you see are the smoke and mirrors.

You want to keep overestimating this man, that's your own problem.

You don't think it's enticing to the north koreans to become a wealthy, technologically advanced state without losing their control over their country? Seriously? Instead of the usual "diplomacy" which is us threatening to flatten them if they step out of line, we are now using the carrot instead of the stick. "say, if you'll be friendly with us maybe we can help you become more prosperous" is a lot more enticing than "do what we say you backwards savages or we'll turn your country into a crater", no?

He's the first US president to actually bother even TALKING to the north korean leader in person, yet you say there's no diplomacy? You're a partisan moron, blinded by your hatred for the president.
