Everybody has some dirt.

Mother Teresa may not have been the saint she's remembered as, but haven't heard about starving kids. Ghandi liked young girls, but never heard him against blacks. MLK was too conservative to be a commie- the FBI came up with that. The KKK were not just originally democrats, they have always been democrats.

Also, Trump released classified info showing MLK was in league with commies.

And that Classified piece of info doesn't happen to be an FBI document from a Director who had a personal feud with MKL, now does it?

I read that document. In an era in which the FBI was actively seeking to harm King and his work (they actually sent him a letter that pressured him to commit suicide, true story), there's ample room for skepticism about its accuracy and validity. The document also throws out unfounded accusations of multiple orgy parties and an illegitimate child with the wife of a dentist in Los Angeles. I find myself wondering why a president who insists that black people love him would choose to release something so damaging to a hero of the civil rights movement, but that's not particularly important in this discussion.

There were people with communist ties in King's circle. That's about as far as one can go while maintaining unbiased truth.

The meme still applies because its still truth regardless of what you say.

Okay, I knew about the first and last bits, but the stuff in the middle, I didn't. Is that actually true?

History is indeed full of contradictions and unfortunate curiosities. What was the point you were trying to make?

The Truth, which was made.

"The Truth" isn't a point, it's just facts. J. Edgar Hoover was a transvestite. Jefferson actively opposed freeing slaves. Bringing Hawaii into the Union was a bloody affair that amounts to imperialism at its worst.

All the truth, and all completely unrelated to each other (much like the things you listed). When mentioned together, the natural response is, "And your point is?" Without anything tying them together, facts are just fun (or not-so-fun, in this case) trivia.

I see these facts bother you, good, I will keep posting them. Now bend over and cry! :P

I'm not bothered by them at all. I'm just not seeing how they're connected or what particular statement you're trying to make with them.
