A very tiny rock. It put a hole right through the screen. I have dropped this thing a lot. I was just thinking earlier that day that it was a miracle it has survived. Guess I jinxed it! LOL

Mine will practically go flying out of my hands and tumble down the road and survive. And then, yeah, it will hit a tiny rock and POW gone

I feel like I had it for such a long time at least it wasn't a huge waste of money.

I won't get a new one until my current one breaks.
I use a samsung and I went from a 2 to a 6. They're up to, what, 25 now?

I have only ever had a Blackberry.I use them until they fall apart. The last one that broke, I took it to have the charge port repaired, when they opened up the phone the rubber seal all around the edges literally crumbled. I was forced into the next Blackberry. The Blackberry classic to be specific. I got a deal on it so it only cost me around 45 bucks. I just ordered the Blackberry Key1 and this thing is $400, with monthly installments of like, 16 bucks each. I really wanted the Key2 but it wasn't available for the upgrade deal.

First time I used one it was like the most amazing thing.

I DESPISE..... i cannot emphasize those two words enough... I DESPISE touchscreens. Especially for typing, or clicking links. It's handy for scrolling, but then again if I want to go to the bottom of a page I just hit the letter "B" and that scrolls me down. Anyhoo, the touchscreen thing sucks. I really don't have that kind of patience.

The Key2 has an app key. You can assign each app a key so that when you want to open it you type that letter and then they app key and it opens it right up. No thumbing through the damned phone to find the app.

I should say, the Blackberry has a touch screen, but you are not stuck always using it since the keyboard doubles as a track pad.

That sounds so much more convenient.
The only thing I can say about the Samsung is that I can make a home screen to put the apps I use somewhere easy to find since most of the apps are pretty useless

They do indeed. And with some pretty cool functions.
My husband thinks he can be one of those people always buying a new phone. Then he realizes he can't afford it. The prices are insane, and the products are crap. iPhone is always removing necessary functions so you are forced to buy expensive accessories. Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave right about now.

I was just lamenting today how i miss having a phone with buttons...I spend so much time correcting mistakes just because if I don't hit dead center of the icon there's no telling what it will actually do. It's as if they think everybody's hands are the same size as the children that make the phones.
Apple has always been ridiculous even with their computers, I work in AV and there are at least a dozen different adapters that we need to have for all the different generations of compters that we need to attach to the projectors. They do it for the sole purpose of making money

Man. I keep everything until it turns to dust. I especially don't like new phones. Too many different things to get used to.

Didn't even have a cordless. Or a TV remote.

And they had the cord and cost a small fortune to own. My Father's boss had one and would call almost every Saturday and ask what we were having for lunch and then say good, I'm turning the corner now. :)

I'd me like, "You can afford a car phone? Maybe you wanna bring us some lunch!" LOL

I got out of the car and turned round. I heard a loud, "CRACK!" I turned to see the phone face down... I as soon as my heart started beating again I slowly walked over.... took a deep breath..... picked my baby up and turned it over to see the life slowly draining away. Just like a scene in a horror movie.

That was the really sad part for me.

I learned from that same tragedy. Now I have a private album on facebook where I just drop off my pics I would hate to lose. That way I still have them stored somewhere. Lost some good baby pics.

Good idea, yeah I lost many baby and kid pics plus some of my moms who passed.
