It's sad, and my sympathies go out to them. I'd like to show the videos of men tossed of roofs to every one of my gay associates who complains about the way America treats their homosexuals.

I remember Orlando was done by someone with the /exact same ideology/ as those in Saudi Arabia, ie he was a Muslim. The shooter was a member of ISIL. So don't try to make out like that was an "American" shooting.

On top of that, at least according to wikipedia, evidence suggests that he may not have even known it was a gay nightclub, as he apparently asked where all the women were before he began shooting. (Although logic suggests he may also have just been confirming the nature of the club before opening fire.)

I don't deny there have been other instances, although even if you totaled them all up together they're /nowhere near/ the scale of the persecution of gay people in other countries, especially Islamic and communist countries. At least in the vast majority of America you can be openly gay without fear.

In any case, I just get annoyed when leftists keep pointing at the Pulse massacre as if that were an example of American hate and not Islamic hate. Just more "fake news".

Likewise, there are religious people in both Christianity and Islam who are completely tolerant, who are fine with just letting people live their lives in peace, with no (or little) judgment and no harassment. There are those who think "being gay is a sin, but it's not for me to judge, that's between you and your maker".

However, in the current day and age, when it comes to being tolerant, the numbers inarguably swing heavily in the favor of Christians.
