Chemical castration at 6. Wonderful. In Ontario, Canada, there's a law on the books that says the government can take your 6 yo if you don't respect their decision to transition and take hormone blockers. Not sure if they've enforced it yet.

Yeah I know right? That's where I live.

And it makes me wonder, if they can say that a 6 year old is mentally developed enough to decide they're the wrong sex, makes me wonder how long before they claim a 6 year old is mentally developed enough to HAVE sex, because that's where that road leads...

Did they get rid of the sex education (8yo's taught graphic gay sex practices etc) that was written by the convicted pedophile yet?

There's no doubt that's what the nambla crowd wants and some that are supporting this. Like that recent meme about a British professor saying 10 yo's (somewhere close to that age) are responsible enough to vote. Same idea.

I have no idea, to be honest, never heard about it.

Well, judging by that article, although it's 2 years old, the curriculum is still basically in effect. His was shelved in 2010, but a virtually identical curriculum was then rolled out in 2015.

The new government said they were going to end it and the progressives protested and cried. That was a few months ago.

That is scary. I'm actually okay with allowing boys to dress as girls and go by a girls name (or girl as a boy), but medical intervention is inappropriate. If the children are mistaken, or acting on influences outside their own actual desires, it would be just clothes and words. Things easily sorted out later when they really do have the competence to think for themselves. That embarrassing "girl" phase would be akin to thier embarrassing goth phase (since gender is just a social designation). But just like we don't allow children to get tatoos to express who they are, because it's permanent and hard, or even impossible to reverse, it is inappropriate to alter them medically. They can make that choice when they are adults (perhaps 16 at the earliest) but six and eight is way too young to allow/encourage permanent life altering decisions. Again, I'm all for letting them explore who they are through fashion, at an age appropriate level. (I.e. I wouldn't let my 9 year old girl, as a girl, perform in a bar for money or pose with a naked adult. It doesn't suddenly become okay when it's a boy dressed as a girl).

And when you get adults pushing their agenda on a confused and trusting child, it's even sicker. Agreed, no child should have their future decided for them by activists and the government.

I agree completely. Sadly, there is supposedly one "valid" argument that makes the whole issue a bit sticky, and that's the hormonal changes brought on by puberty. Once those occur, it becomes much more difficult, on a physical level, for a person to appear more feminine.

I'm not saying that justifies anything, but I do understand the argument.

I wouldn't normally advocate violence, but sometimes you just have to set a precedent :p

but seriously, if anyone gets pumped full of chemicals and hormones alien to their gender, and charged with abuse...it should be this dumb bitch!

Unbelievable that that's happening in Texas.

Yup, that blows my mind too... in TEXAS of all places O.o

Mind you there's some f**ked up things going on in Texas schools too, like having real cops come in and charge kids with actual crimes for stuff kids do... and I'm talking pre-teens here.

One young girl was being bullied, kept being told she smelled funny, so she put on perfume, and I guess it was so strong the teacher told her she was disrupting class. I forget more of the details, but she wound up being put in handcuffs in the back of the cop car, and she was only 11 iirc!

That's sick. Poor kid. This world is so poisoned.
1 up, 5y
Ok yeah, I got a little confused again (it was 6 years ago I read the article), she wasn't the one put in handcuffs, that was from other stories, but she was 12, dragged out of class, charged with a criminal misdemeanor, and ordered to appear in court.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/jan/09/texas-police-schools

From that article:

"In 2010, the police gave close to 300,000 "Class C misdemeanour" tickets to children as young as six in Texas for offences in and out of school, which result in fines, community service and even prison time. What was once handled with a telling-off by the teacher or a call to parents can now result in arrest and a record that may cost a young person a place in college or a job years later."

Trans people attempt suicide at a 40% something rate. Before and even after transition. It's obviously a hard thing to deal with. Why parents would influence their kids towards that is beyond me.

Suicide and opiod overdose is a unspoken (mostly) epidemic in America. Sorry to hear that.
1 up, 5y
Well, the opioid "epidemic" is being greatly exaggerated. In their studies of "opioid related deaths", they're counting people who died with opiates in their system even though the opiate had nothing to do with the death. For example, palliative care patients who would naturally have painkillers in their system to ease their passing.

This is the most disgusting form of child abuse out there, outside of sexual abuse.

6 ups, 5y
I'd say it's worse. There's no coming back from the damage these freaks inflict on their children.

They are psychopaths that lack the ability to empathize with their own children. They want a transgender kid, so they make their kid transgender.

They should be locked up and castrated.

Snopes actually "fact checks" this story. They admit the story is true but have an issue with the way the story is worded cause it's "insensitive." They then go on to discuss Trump's transgender military ban which has absolutely nothing to do with this story. Just goes to show that Snopes is a leftwing pile of garbage.
