Uuuuuggghhhh

Lesbian feminists who will never be pregnant are not telling women what to do with their bodies. They're trying to ensure that women have a choice in the matter.

I've never come across a pro-choice person who wanted to keep women from procreating who wanted to. That's why it's pro-choice, not anti-life.

I want to thank you for posting at least a reasonable reply rather than trolls. And thus so I will respond to your reply.

1) One of the points I was making is simply it is none of their business b/c it does not concern them. It is like I'm protesting and making a lot of noise concerning how the Jewish Synagogue change their ritual laws when I am not Jewish. At this point, most common argument is, "Then men don't have a say b/c it is not their business too!" However, that is easily counterable as "it takes 2 to get pregnant." If men has no say in pregnancy, then I dont ever want to hear another woman complaining about child support.

2) And you must pardon me but I think you are rather naive. I'll use innocent, since that sounds better. Like the LGBT issue, I honestly don't care what perversity people do in their lives. However, that is not the issue, is it? It is the fact they keep shoving it in people's faces, wanting it in our schools and indoctrinate our children to their perversity which offends me. They too claim "What? We're just giving people options, alternative choices! Teaching kids they don't have to be straight!"

With that you have got to look at the bigger picture and see what these abortion supporters, specifically feminists are doing. It is like this, you are fired from your job. You are struggling to make ends meet, finding options such as welfare, loans, parent's support, etc... Then there is this group that tells you, "Hey, you have another option! You can kill yourself!"

Tell me, are they not simply "giving you another choice?"

Feminists/pro-abortionists are not simply fighting for women's "choice." They're actively influencing people's view on life and pregnancy, reducing an infant into a piece of meat. They're telling women who got pregnant they can get rid of their "trouble" with the quick and easy way out, without regard for anyone but selfish intent. They're pushing something which at the very least should be a "difficult" decision into something that is normalized as a quick fix b/c the government should accept it, fund it, et.c..

That is why I have a problem with them. It isn't a political issue. These people are pure evil.

I try to be reasonable :) Responses:

1) If "it's none of their business b/c it does not concern them" is a valid point on this issue, there shouldn't be a pro-life "movement" at all - unless the person considering an abortion is your wife/girlfriend/daughter, whether she has one or not is not your business and therefore you shouldn't get a say in her choice.

2) We can talk about your perspectives on the LGBT issue in a separate thread, but I think the point you're trying to make here is that there is an agenda that is being forced onto people who do not want it.

Allow me to be perfectly clear here: The decision to have an abortion is not, ever, quick or easy. Anyone who thinks it is has clearly never actually talked to anyone who has made that choice. It is a horrible decision to make, and it takes a devastating toll.

I am pro-choice, because I believe a woman has the right to make that choice herself, with the guidance of her doctor and the counsel of her trusted loved ones. However, there are VERY few situations in which I (as a trusted loved one) would encourage a woman to choose to end a pregnancy. I, along with the vast majority of pro-choice people, am not flippant about abortion. It is not an easy way out of an inconvenient situation - it is a heart-wrenching decision that can destroy you if you choose poorly. A person for whom it is easy is a person who needs to spend some serious time with a mental health professional.

To use an imperfect analogy: You would never counsel someone to get divorced because their husband wasn't fun, or because they just didn't have that "spark" that they used to. You would tell them about how marriage is hard, but that the work you put in is worth it. You would tell them that they'd regret making the decision to divorce every day of the rest of their life. You would provide them with the number of a counseling service. You would NOT seek to make divorce illegal, because you know that there are situations in which divorce (awful and painful though it may be) is the best choice. However, since your friend is not in one of those situations, you would never encourage it.

"These people" are not evil. We don't celebrate when someone gets an abortion. We sure as hell don't push people to get them. We just want there to be legal protection and health care resources for people who need to make that terrible choice.

Really, you've never seen "pro-choice" women counter-protesting against pro-life women protestors?
0 ups, 6y
The counter-protests are aimed at people who are trying to take choices away from women. They are not advocating for abortion itself - they are advocating for a woman's right to choose what she does (or does not do) with her own body.

IVF would mean "artificially" meaning you would only do it if you "want" the baby, which means you wouldn't abort it.

A better argument is aliens can abduct and impregnate a lesbian.

----

Liberals always make these meaningless distractions from the point of the issue. I mean are they really that stupid or they're just trolling? Take a pick.

It's like what liberals say, "Wall is racist! And they'll just build tunnels or use ladders! No wall!"

which is equivalent to saying "Doors are useless! Thieves can pick a lock or just use an axe to break it down, so we shouldn't have doors!"
