I’m also not a fan of child beauty pageants either this is just more of the same bullshit. It is adorable in the right context but when you put your child out there for financial gain rather than for their enjoyment... it crosses a line. I would also say that child acting is also a form of this but I’m less hesitant to say the child’s life will forever be ruined. It depends on the adults surrounding them and there are just too many bad apples in the pageant business for me to give a shit about them. Hollywood, for me, is crossing that line every decade. For some it’s well pass over it.
