"We will never know the real motives behind this massacre." This is the official stance of government officials after a terror attack in which the now deceased attacker shouted "Allahu Akbar."

Yes you are right. The I.S. is pretending to follow the Koran (or Quran, depends on where you are) and must atleast attempt to pretend they are Muslims and so say that during Terror attacks thus linking them to Islam. However if you were to take that to mean all Muslims are terrorists I request that you do a 5 minute Google search about that. Or actually read the Koran, where you will find nothing about killing those of differing opinions and that God (Or Allaha, if you want to write the Arabic word for God in English) commands peaceful co-existence and nevere states anywhere to kill anyone except for self defence.

If a terrorist were to yell Jesus Christ before blowing himself up does that have anything to do with Christianity except superficially?

I already know you have never read the Quran, but I agree with you about some of it. The Quran like the Bible, has many different directions (as it wasnt really written by one person). Some are peaceful and some are violent. The Old Testament is a very violent book. Jews arent. These books are structured in a way, with so many different ideas, that you can take the ones that mean good to you. However, the Quran can be used to justify violence, and ISIS are NOT fake Muslims. They are radical, but there views are perfectly legitimate interpretations of the Quran. Now on this we could fight with Quran quotes, but they are peaceful quotes and violent ones. A perfectly accurate interpretation of the old testament is to go to war, plundering cities, and raping the little girls. The Lord is a man of war after all. But Jews dont do that. Muslims do these days. Of course, they are radicals, but note that a high amount of Muslims do support terrorism, and it is hardly condemned by the establishment. Without a doubt Islam is the most violent religion today, but it isn't inherently violent. No major religion is. The New Testament is very peaceful(relatively), but in times of history Christianity has been the most violent.

My point is that right now a good amount of Muslims support violent Islam, and a majority support Sharia law, but that is a problem of Muslim ideals today, not the religion itself. Islam is not a religion of war.

Curious why you think Christianity has been the most historically violent. Are you talking about the crusades?

Huh, while I agree with you on most of this I have issue with the following:

"...and ISIS are NOT fake Muslims"

No, they actually ARE fake Muslims. No matter how you interpret the Koran, they're still not following it. If you've seen what they do to 'Fellow believers' it would become quite obvious that I.S. and Islam couldn't be more separated than they are

"... that a high amount of Muslims do support terrorism..."

No, not even close to 1/4. I'd say more akin to a 1% of 1% of all Muslim's support terrorism. You have to realize that there are hundreds of Millions of Muslims and barley 100,000 of them support terrorism. Now I admit these numbers are primarily guess work and in no way any sort of statistic given anywhere. But, if one were to compare the number it would be similar to what I have given.

"...and a majority support Sharia law..." Don't much about that, perhaps those who live in the middle east, but definitely not the majority, thats for sure.

"...is a problem of Muslim ideals today..."

No, once again. Muslims are generally peaceful people, its the terrorist who are using the religion to recruit people in their operating area. And they paint Islam and its followers in a very bad light, as you have said this is the work of Radical Extremists who are in fact the MINORITY , even if a vocal one.

1% of 1% of Muslims support terrorism? That's hilarious, my man. 100,000? Try millions. A small % of 1.6 billion is still alot.

Well perhaps you are right seeing as the CIA estimates the total remaining I.S. Fighters to be 80,000~ to a 100,000~ and assuming other Islamic Terrorist Groups are also around the same size you would be right. That would still be a Minority.

Isis fighters arent the only supporters

Islamic terrorism has everything to do with Islamic terrorism. A Muslim yelling a allah is great while committing an act of terrorism identifies the terrorist as someone who committed that act for Islam. I'm talking about Islamic terrorism, you're talking about Islam. You're the one muddling things up, not me.

"that act for Islam"

See here's where I pull my hair out. You seem to think that I.S fighters are actually Muslims who go to the Mosque every Friday, pray to God and then go and kill people. No, that idea couldn't be further divorced from reality. I.S. Fighters are usually radicalized in poorer areas such as Iraq and Syria, where even the promise of anything good is enough. They may say 'Alaha hu akkbar' but that still will never make them Actual Muslims. I shall no longer reply to this very... ummm... intresting... thread.

Thank you for threatening me to not reply in a thread you weren't invited to. I mention 80+ countries - a centuries old conflict, which are facts you can't dispute, and you retort with irrelevant information about a single terrorist group that is about a decade old, limited to a single region. You're not qualified for this conversation.
