It seems you are making a sweeping statement, in hyperbole, that religion is immoral by contrast. Why is that? Are religious people not moral people? I'll answer half of it for you, yes there are immoral religious people. But as for the rest?

Without an objective standard for what is right and wrong, there are, at any given point in time, over 7 billion definitions of what is right that may be different from yours. What you consider "moral" may in fact be the utmost evil action to another person.
