Very possibly they reflect upon their own characters, with rightful disgust and self hatred for the despicable souls that they truly are!

Actually YOU hate them. It's easy to blame the democrats for everything but a president (back then candidate) saying "When Mexico sends us their people, they are not sending us their best" is sowing the seeds of hatred, or exploiting the hatred there already was, as all Trump did was bring to light the hatred that was hanging like a dark cloud over the U.S. for centuries now. The hatred that hung over the U.S. even before any of us ever heard of the women depicted in the meme. The U.S. was always divided over these topics, for as long as I can remember. Now we have some women who people who hate (for the sake of hating) can blame for that to clean up their own mess, but that doesn't change the fact that the hatred was already there.

I've heard what Trump said about Mexicans stated before by others... Say about 20 years ago... And what I've come to realize is this. It's easy to blame either the democrats or Trump for sowing the seeds of hatred. The U.S. is soaked with it... for decades. Only because Trump spoke out so clearly on this topic, caused one group of people to dare to speak out too, and caused his opposers to return the passion, and now the two groups are pointing at each other. Like two little brats a teacher is scolding and both replying with "HE STARTED IT!"
It's clear to me now that neither Trump nor these women are guilty. The only difference is that now that Trump is president the dividing based on hatred is more visible than ever.
And in Dutch way say "Als twee honden vechten om een been, gaat de derde ermee heen" which roughly translates into "When two dogs fight for a bone, the third one will take it with him". I think enemies of the U.S. will laugh out loud now. Why should they destroy the U.S. when the U.S. people can do that themselves?
Another Dutch proverb "Waar twee kijven hebben twee schuld" which translates into "Where two are arguing two have guilt".

If you could embrace these women rather than blaming them you can show yourself wiser than they are. But I guess now I'm asking for something really difficult.

Now it's only the U.S. suffering here. Europe is facing similar problems right now and there two I see nothing but pointing. I guess it shows that our knowledge of science and technology may be better, but when it comes to wisdom we are still the same as millennia ago.

Quick, someone call Elizabeth Warren! JeroenBroks has gone off the reservation!

Just call me "Jeroen"... The name "Broks" is my surname ;)
I'm not sure how interesting I am to Warren. Unfortunately she cannot have my vote, regardless of my political opinion, but neither can Trump or any candidate for that matter (I've no voting rights in the U.S).

Now I did see some critical grammar errors in my previous comment that damage some contexts a bit. Damn the lack of an edit feature.... Oh well...

No voting rights in the USA? Then why engage yourself so high and mighty to speak of events in my nation? I have voting rights, and I see my country being DESTROYED by politicians that care more about catrating President Trump than they do the USA.. File for citizenship and be accepted before you decry the likes of Pelosi, Waters, Obama, Clinton, and Tlaib to be the finest thing since the invention of sliced bread. Now please, go trigger yourself, thanks! :D

Hahaha... That is because I see the trouble all over the world, and I ain't narrow minded enough to only mind my own backyard. And just because I don't live in the U.S. doesn't mean that I ain't affected by whatever the U.S. president does, because I am. No I don't live in Mexico, so that wall won't affect me DIRECTLY.
I see the share markets in my country also being affected due to the "trade war" between the U.S. and China. And the stories about the Russians possibly having manipulated Trump into the White House are going around in the elections in which I do have the right to vote, as well.

Oh, and don't think that the elections in which I can vote won't affect the U.S. at all (even though I live in a small country)... hahaha....

Perhaps it's a revelation that there's also land OUTSIDE the U.S. borders....

And the sentiment soaking the U.S. in hatred is a problem in my own country as well. My own country is divided as well. All foul words my native language (which happens to be Dutch) has can be found easily on Facebook and Twitter and similar sites (and ways to threaten each other in my language can be found there too) when it comes to political discussion, like I tried to say (sorry for the grammar error there), it's NOT only a U.S. problem.

And one important note about politicians. No matter if Trump or any other president would destroy the nation, don't forget, the U.S. is a democracy, so the people voted them into the office. That does mean that voters (read: the people) should always remember to look into their own hearts and minds as well. And that basically goes for all democracies all around the globe. ;)

Why engage himself with your spittle? Because, as you can read (you can read, can you?), what he said was pertinent and sensible. Oh, and because he wanted to.

This site is international, and many of you Russbots aren't American either, so if you don't like anyone's input, then don't submit memes open to commenting.

And if said input is such that the response from you was a flustered one line shining example of the unabashed depths of ignorance regarding even your 'own' (albiet, Putin paid for) so-called opinion, then perhaps you should stick to something better suited to your limited capabalities, such as a standard, "It's 2019, and Hillary lost in 2016 still, yuck yuck" that the rest of the wind up toy soldiers here post with simpleton glee.

Hope my triggered little comment didn't put you on snowflake meltdown alert too much.

It's unfortunate that you put effort into posting an informed, balanced, and respectful comment, only to get a reply whose only notable quality was how rude it was.

But if someone is being respectful, what purpose would it serve to act like a crass idiot?

It really seems like that's your only insult at this point. Also, don't say we can't laugh about Clinton losing in 2016, you liberals dredge up stuff Trump said 20 or 30 years ago. "yuck yuck."

That comment was not from one of you Russbot idiots.

The OP is not a liberal, as can be seen by his deflection and lack of response other than trying to be a haplessly lost anal bead.

Hillary won't get elected President in 2008, 2016, & 2020.

Early to bed, early to rise is an old American axiom. I've been up for three hours now, and you clearly have no concept of time-zones, or a strong work ethic. You are, however, adept at self depreciation, given your mind is in the gutter, as anyone reading your last comment will realize.

My dearest VagrantQuiche, your drool (spittle depending on how much Sterno you've ingested this evening) doesn't conjure a meme powerful enough to properly convey how funny you are.. I mean, like a joke, kind of funny! :) You're a joke.

You refer to pocket book versions of come-backs? Well Miss Quiche, you're the one that is stupid, actually. Why? Because you failed to invoke the lame leftist comeback of calling me a "fascist". You missed the standard pejorative of your ilk, Miss Quiche. You dropped the ball.. try better next time.. XD

I'll not question what your excuse is, because, well .. I honestly don't care! Bwah! Now please, go trigger yourself..

I'll be sure to look out for that one. In the meantime, be aware that singling out only women without there being an apparent reason (e.g. "they claim to be for women's rights", "they divide with gender politics", etc.) looks super sexist, regardless of your intent.

Best for media to cease and desist showing photo ops of new FEMALE members of congress standing together, grinning from ear to ear, because that would be "sexist" wouldn't it?

Hmmmn I just realized. The program "the VIEW" is sexist given that hour after hour after hour of the dialog on that show has a panel of only women. (at least that's what i think they are.. not sure sometimes..)

I'm not attacking you, just letting you know what the optics of your meme are. It's a learning moment, if you'll take it. I gave you a couple examples of how to present the picture in a less sexist way, but still maintain a harsh criticism of the women portrayed. I'm certain you can think of several others, and phrase them better than I could.

Your reaction here wasn't exactly the best course of action you could have taken.
[deleted]
0 ups, 6y,

It was actually, and absolutely, the best course of action I could have taken.

You potentially weren't just making "constructive criticism".. and BTW, are you a self anointed member of the IMGflip gestapo?

The double standards that abound and cascade need to be snipped before they get started, and my comment about the media posting sexist images, and hosting sexist programs is actually something one should consider regarding these double standards.

In other words, images of females raising a toast to the annihilation of white men, is deemed OK, and they are heroes of the left.. If I post a meme of a select group of females that appear hell bent on promoting what I perceive to be destructive energy to our nation, I start hearing the rumblings of yet more identity politics...

I don't feel ANY OBLIGATION to you or any one else to make my memes "politically correct" by inserting a gender sliced mix of persons into them.

Those women in this meme, are indeed doing precisely what I suggested in this meme. These "people" (does that word help? call them people instead of women?) are at the forefront of destructive energy that is dividing our nation.. and BTW, I would have included more of them except that it would ruin the visual layout. If you care to look. I can't really focus on the shittiest of these demoncraps without making their thumbnails tiny, given there are ssSSSOOooo many of them! :P

I hope this clarifies things for you! And thanks for liking my course of action by keeping this alive!

:)

sorry -- i can't find a "not triggered" meme lol! You'll just have to make do..

The problem is that if one disagrees with anything that the left media pukes up, they are attacked and called fascist, Nazi, sexist, racist, misogynist, etc etc etc etc.. So it REALLY doesn't matter that I'm none of those things, I'll receive rage regardless.
1 up, 6y,
1 reply
With this thinking, you give yourself a license to speak without a filter, and then blame your tendency to make ill-advised statements on other people rather than owning your mistakes.

From this perspective, I could very easily make a meme saying something like, "If you voted for Donald Trump, you're an uneducated, racist bigot" and then when I catch (well-deserved) flak for it, complain about how it doesn't matter what I say, conservatives will accuse me of pulling those cards anyway so whatever. I would hope that you'd call me out for that.

This perspective is a way to shirk personal responsibility for one's own communication. It does matter. Other people will be stupid. This shouldn't keep you from checking yourself before you communicate. You may be surprised how easy it really is to have a civil, useful conversation when you do.

It started with your self ordained judgement of the meme, and as I've noted earlier, I'm as entitled to offer my truthful perspective as equally as you are. You suggest that I'm shrinking from "personal responsibility" for having experienced the life experience that creates my perspective? You suggest I need to "check" myself? Bullshit. I'll keep speaking my mind, and won't seek your permission to do it.
