It's not the government's job to get you out of poverty because it's your own problem that you need to solve. It might be hard to grasp but the government can't solve all problems with some kind of magic wand.

That's not true, democrats give the homeless in LA free needles and safe places to shoot up haroin.

Democrats in LA have also granted the the homeless the largest open public bathroom system anywhere in the US. Walk around in the city and you'll find that the homeless can relieve themselves anywhere without complaint of government authorities.
