It's because they can't admit that, in the west at least, feminism has already achieved and surpassed its goals. Feminism is "big business" now, and if they admitted that, they'd lose all that power and sweet, sweet government funding, not to mention donations from the private sector.

Also notice that your chart proves women's pay growth outpaces men's until around age 30, when life choices (ie having children) tend to intervene.

Female wages are exactly the same as male wages. If you can find a business where a woman is being paid less than a man for the exact same work, report that business to the authorities, because that is fully illegal, and has been for well over 50 years. Hell, if it wasn't illegal, men would be out of work completely.

Overall female EARNINGS, on the other hand, are indeed lower than male earnings, but whose fault do you think that is?
