No. The media just ignored it until it was Trump enforcing it. All the pictures of "babies in cages" that are going around are from when Obama was president, except for that one that was from a protest and in no way represents reality.
You've asked me for reasonable respectful replies to questions you specifically asked me, I've given extensive carefully explained ones in that manner to you, not any acknowledgement you've even read them. But you readily reply to trolls (including when I'm in that 'mode').

Regardless, it doesn't matter who enacted it. If you break the law, you're going to suffer the consequences. If a mom steals a car, she's going to be separated from her kids.
He did separate children, not nearly as much as Trump, but he still did it. There was an interview where he was asked about this issue and he said it's worth it if it would stop people from making the dangerous trip here. Since I can no longer find that interview (surprise, surprise) I'll concede that point but he did separate some families.
Surprise! You can't find the interview because it never happened. With Obama, that is.

Mofocka! He, like every president since Bill, continued the exact same policy of family separation. When the citizens of the US became aware of what was happening they were outraged and demanded an end to the policy. Trump signed an executive order to end family separation in response.
The only families still separated are those that were unfortunate enough to be part of a class action lawsuit prior to the Executive Order. When the families were starting to be reunited a Democrat Judge ruled against it and had them re-separated until the lawsuit is settled. When you see that families are still separated it's because of that lawsuit and the Dems deliberately preventing reunification just so they can be able to say "Trump still hasn't reunited everyone yet!"
You won't find that story in any newspaper. I got that info from ground zero. Democrat politicians are scum.
