Just saying if you post something political and get upset that someone disagrees with you, then perhaps you shouldn't post anything.

I also think that far too many people grow “Internet Muscles”. They’ll communicate in a manner that they would not dare to do if they were communicating face to face with a person.

I agree, I also should stop trying to get people to see it from my point of view because I'm just beating a dead horse but I get too tempted to comment sometimes

I rarely make any kind of political postings. And I rarely comment in any negative way on political postings that I disagree with. From my perspective, half the country cannot wrap their political brains around the way the other half thinks (and vice versa). So the chances of convincing anyone on the other side to move to your political beliefs is darned near zero. So I simply prefer to “Live and Let Live”, and when I see a political meme that I disagree with, I simply continue to scroll. I do not see how publicly arguing does anything positive. Just my 2 cents.

Logic fail?

It used to be that people, for the most part, took the position of "Live and Let Live", or "Viva la'Differance". Nowadays, it sure seems to me that people are always on the hunt for things to be offended by. And when their hunt is successful, they use it as an opportunity to argue publicly. I, for one, want to hear all kinds of opinions. I don't just want to hear the ones that I agree with. Just my 2 cents from an old codger.
