Even he knows he's going to prison as soon as he's not prez. That's why he's setting everything up now so he can be king. If he can't become king or get a pardon he's got his guys on the supreme court. He is not intelligent enough for all of this though. What's happening now has been in play for decades. He was just stupid enough to play the part.
