The thing is, the number of reported rapes has been going up in Sweden - it's almost trebled in just the last seven years. In 2003, about 2,200 offences were reported by the police, compared to nearly 6,000 in 2010.

Your Danish figures are based on estimates, as well as miscontrueing data and defintions.

What these figures do is:

1. Inflate the numbers of sexual assault/harrasment by adding estimated unreported figures.

2. Since they include everything from wolf whistles on the street to unwanted groping in passing to violent rape, they duplicitously recategorize them all as rape, and thus add another angle for inflating the numbers.

These types of figures distort data, CNN just reported it. All they do is talk about Trump, so they are not going to invest time and money compiling data for a report like that.

CNN does not makes fake news, it has clarified and apologized on the rare instance it mistakenly gave erroneous info. It is the major US news channel.
