Thought that article looked familiar.
OhWell posted it before, laonsite read it, said it verified the Red State taking more than they put in.
What it does is try to spin it with a bunch of 'yeah but...'s.
'Yeah, but aren't those the ones who say the rich should pay more in taxes to redistribute to the poor?'
The reverse then does not reply?
'Yeah, but what about North Dakota, which is red but is the least subsidized state?'
An exceedingly low population state which only lately has had a boom in the economy due to fracking? Check ND in the next decade, when the well runs dry dry and it's back on the Federal IV again.
'Yeah, but richer states and their bigger populations take more overall'
Because the NYPD's budget is higher than Deer Nut County Missouri's Sheriff and 2 deputies?
"Yeah, but what if a retired Michigan couple spends 5 months per year in Florida?'
They can spend another 5 in the Bahamas, so?
It also misidentifies New Mexico as a Blue State.
So it uses distortion to verify Red State parasitism, yet excuse it.
Funny how facts can't be changed.
