Not sure if the ones in the picture is Syrians, but your point is correct.
According to statistics the overwhelming majority of Syrian refugees is young men.

I guess we are going to have to be the ones to go in, overthrow Ass-head or whatever the Syrian dictator's name is, save their women, and build a better government for them.

Here's the story, these men are so-called refugees. They were on their way to Europe/Italy when the captain was told to turn around and take them back. They then proceeded to threaten the captain and his crew that they were going to kill them if they did not take them to Europe/Italy. I don't know if I can post links here, but Google it.

I think nothing gets me more angry than ignorance and lack of empathy. First you're wrong, second do men deserve to die because they are men?

Get you definitions straight, I didn't chastise anyone. Getting angry is a normal human emotion.

You imply that refugees are mainly men, I just show you that other pictures show the opposite.

About 3.500 people die in the Mediterranean each year including women and children. They know the crossing is very dangerous, they know they can get enslaved in Lybia, they know they might die in the sea and still try to cross to Europe with their family. Are they just stupid to you? or determined invaders?


This lack of basic empathy (another human ability) gets me angry.

I hope I will never find myself in their situation with my kids because suddenly my side of the border has become rotten.

SHOW ME ALL OF THE PICTURE OF MASS MIGRANT REFUGEES WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND ELDERLY?? YOU CAN'T!!! You may find one picture with some women or children, but MOSTLY it's only fighting age males!

Type Syrian Refugees into Google, that was NOT the first image that you got.

"Fighting age males" common, you actually believe that those people are invaders coming to fight? That's sad, you need some doctor to cure this paranoia of yours.

I guess it's a safe bet to say your family wasn't born where you live now. Some people had to migrate to the country you're in just to earn a living and have a decent life. That's what most people want. They want TV, get fat in front of the superball.

Anyway, to feed a little this discussion, according to the UNHCR, in Greece, more 60% men are crossing the border. In the mediterreanen however, 72% men. More men than women ideed. Does this mean they are coming to fight? not really. Usually young men come first because:
1-migrating is hard and dangerous. So you might as well risk your own life and not that of your family.
2-If you don't have a family it's easier to travel (duh!)
3-Many times, men come first, get a job, try to get legal papers, and then try to get their families to come over.

you're just taking one boat, one story and make a pattern out of it.

No, actually I'm not. Maybe you should see what is happening in Europe? In France! In Germany! In the UK! In Sweden! Do your research!

I live in France. We're just fine. I don't know what kind of fear-based media you're getting your news from but come over if you want, and see for yourself it may give your paranoia some rest.

Please explain how it's hate? These so called migrants threatened to kill these people who were trying to help them in the first place. So WHO are the hateful ones? Me or these people who would murder innocent people trying to help them?

That's literally one picture of one boat filled with one group of people, and the story you keep telling people doesnt even match the picture, and other than that, you cant even prove this is a pattern
